Need Salvation? Try the Belief-O-Matic!

My wife turned me on to a really cool web site where you answer a questionnaire of 20 questions and it determines, in order, what specific religions correspond with your beliefs. The site is: http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html . My wife, as I am certain most of the tree hugging, left lean liberals like her and I came out as being Universal Unitarians, followed a close second as a Liberal Quaker (ironic as she is from England originally).

…And my results from the Belief-O-Matic:

1.
Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2.
Liberal Quakers (98%)
3.
Neo-Pagan (94%)

Up close and personal Jehovah's Witnesses can be wolves in sheep's clothing.

Think about this-When the devil comes knocking on your door he may not have the 'dark goth look'.They could be smartly dressed and wielding the Christian Bible.

I have Jehovah's Witnesses family in the usa who practice the Watchtower JW enforced ritual shunning that i have not seen or heard from in 15 years.

The central CORE dogma of the Watchtower is Jesus second coming (invisibly) in 1914 and is a lie.Jehovah's Witnesses are a spin-off of the man made Millerite movement of 1840.

A destructive cult of false teachings, that frequently result in spiritual and psychological abuse, as well as needless deaths (bogus blood transfusion ban).

Yes,you can 'check out anytime you want but you can never leave',because they can and will hold your family hostage.

The world has the Internet now,and there are tens of thousands of pages up from disgruntled ex-Jehovah's Witnesses like myself who have been abused by the Watchtower cult.

Jehovah's Witnesses are often a mouth that prays a hand that kills. The Watchtower is a truly Orwellian world.

I wait for my big brother to answer the door for witlesses.but here it is on God's Friday and all the stores are open.Costco's lot is full and now any fundamentalist out there can feel like a minority group (Muslim/Jew/Hindu/Sikh)becasue the holy days are not observed here. The jeans on me are from a Baal of cotton and slave-labour market place too, like the shoes. Anyhow, some sympathy for those who have been in cults and for youmr.realrant for cluttered blog-site, and you would have done as well as Harry if Canada elected a King. Your religious beliefs, though un-Orthodox, are covered by the "notwithstanding clause". If you are elected, will you repeal the sanity clause? You know what Chico said? nodroggout

nodrog as a cockroach; it turned out as i seem to be a quaker/orthodox/protestant/mainline christian of some sort. then i got lost trying to reach the chat room. someone stepped on me and i reincarnated back as a cockroach again.i wanted to comment back to those or he who suffered with je woe fats witlesses and to the unfortunate operator of this blogsite, if jaywubbleu's bug you, stay out of tom's cruise or john revoltin' scientology too. b'hai's are not as scary and some pentecostals are very scary/cult like. i like anglicans; you can hide in this rock. unitarians are similar enough/noncommittal, you can have beer and pizza if you don't like wine and bread. quakers are an interesting study; they die out do to lack of sex. not appealing to most. but the quaking part was good. saw tuesdays with maury yesterday and it capped the sermon from maundy thursday. the line is so good i gotta use shift lock to say,"We gotta love one another or die!". funny old jewish guy and young about-to-die jesus said same thing.
